He's probably past his prime, but I've always been a big fan so I hope it works out for him.

Isn't he mostly just going there for a few weeks to help Rory prepare for the moose?

Huge fan, but I think he's done.

He just doesn't look like he has that passion to compete anymore.

I'm talking that look on his face when he was down 2-0 to Rory going into the 3rd.

If he’s motivated that’s one hell of a great camp for him.

Honestly, win or lose his next fight, he should just retire. the wars before and after the injury lay off show
to be the man you gotta beat the man.
    Woodly did.

How's this going to help with his TDD?

I get the feeling he's doing it just to pay bills which doesn't bode well for his future performances.

Guy looked like his will was broke in the Magny fight - that's not a knock on him; you can only fight for so long with that killer mentality and lack of TDD.

Maybe being up there for a bit will light a fire in him again but I doubt it.

It's unfortunate Condit doesn't have that killer instinct and drive anymore. Unfortunately that's what happens when you have to endure a fifth round with Robbie Lawler.

He hasn't always been aggressive just look at his fight with Nick Diaz, he ran the entire fight.

This is a good move for him. If they can inspire confidence and get him headed back up he still has tons of gas left in the tank. He's got to pick his spots better though. I know he's an exciting fighter with his original style but that only lasts so long

I knew someone was gonna say that, other than the Diaz fight, there are no other examples.
As an MMA fighter, Condit's style is usually very just bleed, though still technical.
Nick just has really good counter which is the reason he always taunts his opponents to walking into them. Condit just had a change of gameplan for that specific fight, and till this day he talks about how he's not proud of it.

But that's also why I brought that up because it's exactly the sort of style I guess you could say that he needs to adopt going forward. He has the ability to inflict a lot of damage in just a few shots, he needs to engage less and pick his spots better, become more elusive. If he has to win by decision sometimes than so be it but he still has all the tools to win and be a top contender. I think this is a great move on his part

Imagine if Condit learned how to jab, rather than throwing the stupid shit he throws whilst walking with his chin up in the air.

Condit's boxing is horrible. If he learned how to throw a good jab and straight, it could have improved his game a lot. Even with footwork. Jacksons, Winklejon and Gibson have flashy techniques, but their boxing is some of the worst.
