Serious question here. Does anyone here know if a concussion can cause a person to experience hallucinations?

Any damage or trauma to your brain could cause a lot of weird things to happen. I'd imagine hallucinations or seeing things that aren't there are a potential symptom. If you think you might have a concussion I'd go to a doctor. Well.....I probably wouldn't b/c am a stubborn idiot. But I'd advise others to go b/c you can get swelling on your brain and it can kill you.

Yeah, I suffered a concussion in early December and I’ve been seeing one thing out of the corner of my eye that’s been freaking me out. I even looked for it but it just isn’t there. I’m just gonna accept that my mind is playing tricks on me and try not to pay attention to it.

    Thanks

Is it the same thing every time or just random scrambled up images?

A cousin of mine suffered a traumatic brain injury and his brain swelled. He almost died but the surgery saved his life. A few years later he got diagnosed with schizophrenia. But before that I noticed he was starting to lose it a little and would say stuff that made no sense.

Could have been a coincidence however

Was your eye also hurt? I took a back-spinning elbow to the eye and saw this light on the corner of my vision field for months.

Nope, that Billy Goat in your room is real, and you should do what he tells you.

TS I'm your brain and you're not really here on sherdog. You're lying face up in a hospital bed after getting knocked the fuck out and none of this is real.

p.s. when you wake up start wiping your ass better as people are starting to talk about how much you smell like shit.

No, my eyes weren’t injured but the bridge of my nose was scraped up pretty good.

No billy goats but some black thing that looks like it’s scurrying across the ground out of the corner of my eye, but I know there are no rodents or bugs around here anything like that.

When I wake up I’m gonna request a sponge bath.
