Nobody on sherdog is satisfied. They want miracles to happen but when given the opportunity they pick the other guy...

Im legit shocked of how much people wanted Connor to lose.

I read sherdog and consensus says they hate the bigger fighter. They think Jon Jones should go up to heavyweight cause they feel he cuts too much weight...

They hate Jon Jones. .

They (sherdog) hates people who cut Weight to be the bigger man.

Yet..

We have a fighter like Connor who doesn't give a fuck. A fighter who risks his legacy to fight a bigger man...

You hate him for what reason?
... Because he paved the way for a champ to hold multiple titles? Because he's confident and wanted to change the landscape of MMA?

What connor did was unthinkable and never before seen.

I pray that a champion would be like him. I pray that this paves the way for Champs to search for multiple titles.

I love jj he's my favorite fighter but consensus shows sherdog hates him because they feel like he has the frame of a heavyweight.

Yet a champion risks his legacy to move up two Weight classes and these same people hate on him?

It's because this forum houses the lowest common denominator. They're not martial arts practitioners or spectators. They're "ultimate fighting" fans. The average IQ around here isn't much higher than that you'd find at your local fast food restaurants.

Does it help, TS, to know that I can't stand Conor no matter what weight class he's at? He deserves respect for being willing to fight at different weight classes, but he also deserves the backlash he's getting now for all the trash talk, same as Ronda.

I will say this. Without Ronda, Sage, and Conor I am looking forward to who the next hype will be. I would love to witness a legit all time great career unfold before my eyes in my lifetime.

Closest we have had so far are Fedor, GSP, and a prime Silva in my opinion.

That being said, anyone who's been around long enough had to of at least had a nagging feeling that Conor's career trajectory was outpacing his actual skill set, especially on the ground. It had to have been expected at some point that he wouldn't fulfil his boastful prophecies. Hindsight is 20/20, etc., but if you actually tell me you believed he had the stuff to be a true legend (at least at this point in his career), well, I just can't take people like you seriously.
