Competition Preparation: Getting Ready for Battle by David Thomas
I was watching the interviews at the end of ADCC 2005 and heard Jake Shields talking about coming out for the third place match and feeling "totally gassed" at first because he didn't warm up properly. I've had this problem before my first match of the day when competing so I started Googling around for ideas on precompetition prep.
I came across this article by David Thomas, who is/was from Austin Jiu Jitsu. I was impressed with the article and thought I'd post a link to it here.
By the way, there's some great stuff at the Austin Jiu Jitsu website. Definitely worth a visit.
