Competition Advice for a noob!

    Champion Grapplers Submission Challenge is being held in Lehi, Utah Nov. 13 no time limit submission only tournament, anyone planning on competing? competed in it before? this will be my first competition if i decide to do it and just wanted to know what i should expect from this competition and competitions in general, would love to get some pointers if ya'll have any, been training about 4 months thanks in advance

    Have no expectations, just go out there and do the tecniques you feel you are good at, and have fun. In my first fight i went for a single leg and got it. went for an armlock with my legs i'd been shown the previous week, and got the tap.

    get a gameplan.
    Decide if your gonna play top game or bottom.
    Top=takedown Bottom=jump/pull guard.

    Besides that pretend your at your gym just rolling on the mats.
    instead your not experimenting your using your best techniques to win.
