Not enough info. What is the cutoff for the next weight class down? How much weight do you need to lose? Do you think you can lose that much in three weeks? Are you strong for your weight? What type of game do you play? Do you think you're going to struggle with guys who weigh like 250 or more?

If you can reasonably cut the weight you probably should. If it is going to be really tough and take away from your training just bite the bullet, but know you will be at a disadvantage.

26 pounds is way too much to lose in three weeks especially if the weigh-in is right before your match. Just fight at heavyweight and do your best, and try to lose the extra pounds before the next tournament.

sometimes i compete in higher weight classes because i'll have a speed and cardio advantage, it has back fired before but has worked more often then not...
