A big deal is being made about Usman breaking GSP's welterweight win streak, so I thought it'd be interesting to actually compare them.

Georges St-Pierre's 12-fight win streak at welterweight:

#4 Josh Koscheck
#3 Matt Hughes
#1 Matt Serra
#2 Jon Fitch
#1 (LW) B.J. Penn
#2 Thiago Alves
#5 Dan Hardy
#3 Josh Koscheck
#2 Jake Shields
#2 Carlos Condit
#5 Nick Diaz
#2 Johny Hendricks
AVG RANKING: 2.66

Kamaru Usman's 13-fight win streak at welterweight:

#102 Hayder Hassan
#68 Leon Edwards
#31 Alexander Yakovlev
#51 Warlley Alves
#36 Sean Strickland
#42 Sergio Moraes
#13 Emil Meek
#7 Demian Maia
#3 Rafael dos Anjos
#1 Tyron Woodley
#3 Colby Covington
#2 Jorge Masvidal
#4 Gilbert Burns
AVG RANKING: 27.92

sucks coming from tuf where you get low ranked fighters for a while.

but yeah usmans record has nothing on gsps.

Usman fought much better competition period. Soon Dana White and Joe Rogan will start to call him the GOAT for selling more ppv. And in frankly if he won't lose he earned this title. If he can beat Colby or Edwards in a rematch he should go up and start to clean middleweight division.

The fact that Dan hardy was even ranked in the top 5 prove how much better welterweight have become.
Dan Hardy was #5? Wow that division is even worse than i remembered. Not to mention Serra getting a title shot from TUF (Split decision even)
Chiesa is ranked #5 on FightMatrix because he defeated Condit (0-4 in his last four fights), Sanchez (need I say more?), RDA (1-3 in last four and moved back to LW), and Magny (<Lmaoo>).

Fight matrix is shit. And chiesa would completely dominate any version hardy. So what's your point?
