If the account name doesn't make it obvious enough, it's probably known how much of a Nick Diaz fan I am.
When I originally became a Nick fan, I watched a lot of his older fights - but I would be a liar if I was to claim that I've watched them all. So guess what? I've challenged myself to watch all 37 of them
I want to share my views and opinions on all the fights - and hopefully shed some light on the fights for those of you who will never actually watch them (I don't blame you, it's a long process).
I was going to attempt to make this all one thread, but realized that it will be way too long. So I am going to chop this up into 4 segments which I will post over the next few days:
1. The Early Years (All Nick's fights prior to the UFC signing)
2. The First UFC Run (Nick's period where he was in the UFC)
3. Becoming a Cult Legend (Nick's 4 year run of dominance)
4. A Return To The UFC (Nick's return to the UFC, and eventual decline)
I will post PART 1 in the next few hours as I've almost got up to his inception in the UFC.
To all my fellow Diaz hardcores, join me in supporting and reminiscing on one of the best fighters to ever grace this sport, and one of the most genuine and misunderstood sportsmen in history.
Ladies and gentleman, Shertards and Sherbros... I give you... Nick Diaz!
