What I noticed the most was your footwork. You went from being overly bouncy to like your feet were mud. Your coach was working on it by pushing you away, but just make sure that you get out after you throw your combos. You tend to move your upper body but not your feet.

Post a sparring video. Are you still doing that tournament?

Yeah, the tournament thingy got delayed because of the political situation tho. But i dont get it, why would i get out after a combo when i worked SOOO hard to get inside in the first place?

I know eff all about boxing so I can't really critique, but I just wanted to say:
You/your training and boxing in general looks/looked really cool :)

PS: Your coach is a giant.

I punch and weave, never been countered in the inside before, to be honest, only a fool would try to counter an infighter inside o_O i wish someone would throw an upper or hook when im in the inside so III could counter them.

Thanks man! and yeah, he is a beast :( Imagine, i spar with this thing :(

You've also never fought with anyone competent.

Or someone who's better than you. You shouldn't assume that the inside is some safe place that everyone is scared of being in and all of a sudden forgets how to fight.

So is Mayweather a fool now for countering Hatton in the pocket?

No offence but people who are a pure type is few and far between. For example, the same two guys I just mentioned have skills in more than one category- Mayweather is an exceptional counterpuncher as well as one of the best boxers ever; Hatton could fight on the inside as well as brawl etc. By limiting yourself to one style (peek-a-boo) and one type of fighting, you're limiting your own skillset.

too bad i couldnt laugh about that.

I dont wanna be like mike tyson..? Assuming peekaboo style doesnt make me a mike tyson style fan. And i like to semi-half weave to keep my mind ready to do a weave/slip at any moment.

True. But in the inside, i am constantly hitting WHILE weaving, punch weave, punch weave, punch weave, its a pattern but i know how can i be countered with that pattern and if i know what punch is coming, i can also counter it. right?

There are plenty of counters against someone who like to fight inside. You haven't spar anyone that is competent to take advantage of your one dimensional infighting style that only consist of you weave in and punch inside, with little else to offer. This is giving you a false sense of security AND an ego big enough to claim that you haven't been counter. Not to mention you are just sticking to what you like because it work within your low level of competition, instead of branching out and diverse yourself. This is not Hajime No Ippo where a one trick pony like Ippo is able to succeed. And you can say all you want about you not wanting to be Tyson, but if what you are doing is like Tyson, same stance, same fighting style rigidly then people gonna think that you want to fight like Tyson.

Seriously dude, this is on the same laughable level when you claimed that your brother have a shin hard enough to bend steel goal post.

Yeah and lol at his "can't be countered on the inside" comment.

Dude as nuclear said, there are dozens of ways to counter an inside fighter. You are in for a big surprise if you think no one can counter you bro. That's just setting yourself up to get hurt- bad.

A big ego and overconfidence will drop you when you meet the humble fist. You're still young and inexperienced, you shouldn't ever speak of absolutes. Infinite variables and infinite lines to take in fighting.

That statement right there is foolish to begin with. Having confidence in yourself and your abilities is one thing, claiming no one can counter you on the inside is arrogant and ignorant.

Mitts are fun and a good training tool, but don't display a fighters true ability or temperament. A fighter working mitts with a long time coach has a routine and established set of cues that make the fighter look quicker and slicker than he actually is.

If I fought as well as I hit mitts with my coach, I would be a terror on the "wirey 145lb white kid" circuit
