Comcast Customer Service is the worst

Yeah, I know, Captain Obvious here. But I just spent two hours in the phone in futility with Reps whose only job skills are resetting modems remotely and apologising.

My service was cut off earlier. No biggie, waited awhile then checked online with the phone app to see if there was a service outage. Nope, all green. Reboot the modem/router a couple of times. No good.

Weirdly, the modem is showing a good connection. So I reluctantly call support.

Name, address, SS. Dude's no help. Can't figure it out. Transferred, rinse repeat two more times

Then, a rep sees a new note. A survey team discovered my house has inside leakage and a Rep has been scheduled.

What's that I ask. Rep doesn't know. The leakage was causing my service to not work. BS I say, I've had no issues for a long time. Someone at Comcast shutoff my service. When is someone coming out? Wednesday? What? Are you kidding?

So, to recap. A field rep determined my house has "leakage", which is probably true, I don't know. But instead of informing or coordinating with anyone including Comcast, they just shut me off for 6 days. I would have had no idea what was happening unless I called.

I have a theory what's wrong because what a supervisor told me. There had been problems in our area since Dec 15th. If the shitheads would have checked, they would have seen that the cable from the pedistal to my house was replaced by Comcast on Dec 10th. And my house service has been fine since then.

Coincidence? I think not. But hey, they didn't ask for my opinion. Fucksticks.

I agree. Calling Comcast for support is like having someone take their feces and forcefully putting it INSIDE your ass; IT FREAKIN' SUCKS!!!

I seriously don't know how they get away with the chit they pull on the phone.. Waiting hours for a simple answer. Yes I've dealt with them before
 
Ive had some epic blow outs with comcast over the years I hate that company
 
We have internet only with HBO Go.

Wife is ready to have a major meltdown with some poor bastard on the phone if service isn't back on by Sunday night.
 
Comcast is horrible, but is AT&T any better? I've never had AT&T but everyone I talked to hates them.
 
This is only part of the reason I dumped cable five years ago.

AT&T is worse. Had way more problems with them. Also Comcast has the best internet at least in my area so a necessary evil
 
The worst part is even though you feel like blowing up on the rep there's no point because they can't do shit anyway.

The guy just asked if I use hulu and netflix and things like that, I said yes, he said ok and dropped the cable. I have frontier though, which use to be AT&T UVERSE .. Use to have comcast, didnt like them, never really had an issue with AT&T though, I liked them

I just dropped my cable 2 days ago.. I was surprised they didnt try very hard to keep me. The guy just asked if I use hulu and netflix and things like that, I said yes, he said ok and dropped the cable. I have frontier though, which use to be AT&T UVERSE .. Use to have comcast, didnt like them, never really had an issue with AT&T though, I liked them
Frontier just bought Verizon in my area. I had fios now it's frontier fios. I have had to call them several times to get one question answered. It's a nightmare. I am moving today and a technician is supposed to come to my new house and connect service. I hope it works. I called yesterday to verify. Supposedly someone is on the way today. It's the best internet in the area so I am kind of stuck with them.

Yup, this all day.

One of my friends said that's why he has Direct TV. Lol

I don't have Cable TV, just Internet only and AT&T's internet is much slower at the same pricing. I'm at 150mb/sec now and AT&T would be 45.

Not much I can do. My wife will be blowing up their phone today.
