what kind of combos and setup do you like to perform? personally i like to throw a front kick and aq roundhouse with the same leg.

Throw double roundhouse. High and low if there dumb enough theyll drop hands to block the middle kick and you drill them with the high kick. I like causing a flinch to get them to defend and go apeshit like 4 punch combo and finish with a highkick

These are effective for me:

cross, left hook, right knee
jab, cross, low kick
jab to stomach, cross to stomach, left hook to head
jab, cross, left body hook, low kick
jab, right elbow, left knee

I find that forming a V with my index and middle finger and jabbing at my opponent's eyes, followed by a swift kick to the berries yields very satisfying results.

dude....ouch

a couple of good combos

lead leg roundhouse, right hook, left hook
lead teep, right roundhouse, left hook, straight
jab, jab, right leg roundhouse
left hook, right spinning elbow

lead leg roundhouse, cross, lead hook
jab, left hook, right hook, left uppercut
jab, cross, right hook
cross to bread basket, right hook, left cross

by the way, I fight southpaw

I like to grab a hold and hit with the same weapon over
and over. I dont go left side right side unless I have to.

I like that.

wow man, thanks. that means a lot coming from someone who's actually fought in the ring. :)

I usally sets up my rear with a lot of small jabs. And since I'm a southpaw I can get a pretty good angle on the rear.

Else for southpaws, making a fake ***, and making it to a hook, is a great setup for letting the bombs fly around. Hard to descripe how to fake it, but it sure works for me.

Left Jab, right outside mid kick or low, left straight, right bomb.

or

Left, right, left hook, right straight, left knee, right upper cut, then take down or clinch

I'm a pure boxer, my very favorite punch combo is

Jab, right hook to the body, right uppercut, left hook. Works so well for me.

many of you guys dont explain what your trying to do with the combo,
do you really understand what the heck it's for?

if you land a jab solid, you may be able to land a solid cross.
hence the jab cross combo.

if your jab is parried, you may switch to a jab hook combo.

or jab to the face, jab to the gut, then pivot with a right uppercut/hook to the body
to move into a safe ground and hit him hard.

Jab is your best friend when settting up a good combo

jab, left hook, overhand right, left body rip, right upper, hook, low kick
