Partisan politics aside, despising our politicians in general should be applauded at present. They are literally the most selfish, useless humans on earth. Citizens need stop focusing on short-term partisan issues and elect new candidates with NO political ties and lobbies.

None of these people realize that Frank Castle has zero hesitation in killing police officers, or any corrupt piece of shit. Castle is literally a mass murderer that operates outside of the law. He's doesn't delve into nationalism either, so painting his trademark skull with the American flag is a disservice to him, and to Old Glory. It's literally in violation of Flag Code.

But these folks aren't here to understand the character, or to respect the flag...

Forgive my ignorance, but I was under the impression that Trump WAS that unconnected candidate: a "drain the swamp" businessman with no prior political experience. Am I wrong?

What exactly are you asking for here? If it's someone with no strong opinions on matters, why would they be running for office and how would their ambivalence be at all helpful? And if it's someone who takes different sides on different matters, we already have that in spades. Plenty of Republican politicians are social conservatives but not fiscal conservatives, for example. And they all seem to disagree on foreign policy.

Trump is probably the closest we've come in a long time to what you're describing. He identifies as a Republican because that's what aligns best with his policies, but you'd better believe there's plenty of disagreement between him and the Republican establishment.
