Not really, he mostly penetrated with his lead foot off a jab feint rather than switching his stance.

I use that, you can do a combo switch stance punch followed by a jab and a roundhouse kick.

I'm not sure about GSP, but TJ Dillashaw is really good with using switching stances to set up punches and entries to takedowns.
