Since the Reebok deal the only coloured shorts I recall is Conor wearing green in the Aldo fight.

Reebok announced that the fighters will have full colors. So besides black shorts with blue name outlining, it's blue shorts with white out lining. So no the fighters don't have much of a choice but they will in 2017

The color of the shorts is based on the country you represent. Blue for America, Yellow for Brazil, Red for Japan, White for Holland.

It's a start at least. I'd prefer if guys could just pick their own colors but it's better than nothing.

It's not just for ufc 200. You will see fighters wear these shorts untill 2017 where the shorts will be redesigned
