I can't think of too many more nostalgic images than that right there. Going to Blockbuster (Major Video before that) and renting a Coliseum Video on a Friday after school. I want to know what one was your favorite? I have my picks and I ended up getting into tape trading later on. I sold all my collection to pay for college back in the day, but these served me well growing up.

I was a huge Ahmed Johnson fan for some odd reason lol. He was at his peak during this World Tour. I liked the behind the scenes clips on this tape too.

Second was The Hart Foundation collection. Little Red ran with the Pink and Black early on. I loved the Hart Foundation growing up and I ripped.up.ky share of backs and knees with the Sharpshooter as a kid.

Take a trip down memory lane with me fellas!

What was your favorites?

Damn I'm getting flashbacks
I'll go with this one since I use to own it, but I mostly use to rent those from my friend's dad's video store

Such a great time for wrestling! I loved the World Tour videos because they had matches worked in a way they normally wouldn't happen. For example, I don't remember which one exactly...might he the tournament in Kuwait...where Austin submits to the Sharpshooter. Later that year they have that iconic Wrestlemania match where Austin passes out bleeding out of his head. Doesn't tap. I just thought it was cool seeing him tap.

Ya these tapes defenetly are the origin of my obsession with wrestling for sure.
Going down a massive rabbit hole revisiting these great box arts.

This tape was my first introduction to Abdullah and a lot of the more hardcore wrestling. If you can find it, I'd recommend giving this a watch. Cactus Jack has a few really insane matches on this tape. Also, ICP brings a unique perspective to the event as commentators.

Ya I grew up listening to ICP and actually finally got to see them live a few years ago so I'm familiar with StrangleMania.

Necro Butcher doing all that crazy stuff barefoot just blows my mind

@Rex Honcho uaed to put his porn in the wwf cover slips so nobody found his stash but one day his friend wanted to watch Yokozuna and egg roll
Sandwich vs max mini and my god
That is exactly what he got

I agree man! I understand wrestling is a work, but the stuff they do in this tape...it is impossible to say it is fake. The bomb matches were a lot of fun too. It's off this thread topic, but I used to play Fire Pro Wrestling Returns and you could make all the matches in Japan. Barbed wire, bomb matches...off topic lol but it was a sick game.

I used to watch this one a thousand times

My childhood best friend had this tape and he emulated Michaels so much. We would defend our titles at recess and he broke this kid's ribs with a superkick when I was holding his arms. The kid tried to get out of the way and when he moved....boom! Right in the ribs. We were clapping those erasers for weeks lol.

The kid knew Tim White the referee well as Tim owned a bar a town over from where we lived. We met all the wrestlers back then...I have tons of pictures at my parents house. The coolest wrestlers? The answer isn't even close and may surprise you...Nasty Boyz. They were super cool with all the kids and gave us free merch and what not.

This? This card right here?

Was a great big steaming bucket of horse diarrhea. However, it was the first time I remember seeing Billy Jack Haynes. Big, jacked, and used a bridging Dragon Suplex as a finisher. I was like, "Who is this dude and why didn't he make it big?" Then I got to listen to him and hear stories about and I was like, "Damn. He's crazy as he is strong. That has got to be troubling to the people around him. Not just loved ones. I mean people in close proximity to him. Like within arm's reach."

Smack Em Whack Em because it had a few Bret matches. I remember going to Movies To Go with my mom and seeing those bright colorful boxes and life couldn't be better taking one home and throwing it in the VCR.
