Coleus Forskohlii Extract

    Hey all- I'm looking to shed some fat in time for a grappling tourney in a month, and was told that Coleus Forskohlii is a supp I should take. Ive been told that it cuts fat, maybe about 1-3 pounds a week, and restores muscle somewhat.

    Anyway ever take it and had results? If so, what else have you taken with it?

    It restores muscle ? hmm think you might as well be usin snake oil.

    If you must take a supplement you could try some carnitine, changing your diet to negative calorie intake and getting in daily cardio would be your most effective steps though.

    What ever promises you're reading about 1-3 pounds etc, are pure marketing. It's indian mint or something.

    It's best properties seem to be the improved thyroid function. It's basically like paying for a supplement you don't need if you eat fish or shell fish twice a week. (many other foods will improve thyroid function, hell, iodized salt would do the job.)

    There is no magic pill. To shed fat, eat less & workout more. Clean up your diet as much as you can with the basics keeping it nice and easy and you'll feel better whilst you're dropping the weight.
