Coleman was a better wrestler than those guys could ever be.

Better as has faced better opponents and Coleman was a good MMA wrestler, not a great MMA wrestler.

He fought Couture a bit too late but I always thought couture was better.

Couture and Coleman were both well past their primes in that fight. It had more to do with Couture becoming well rounded over the years and Coleman sticking to takedowns and gnp. Even super steroid Coleman gets beaten by Jones (I see some knees on the feet and eventually a guillotine choke). Different eras.

That huge, ridiculously strong HW lost to Maurice Smith, who was smaller than Jones and had no takedown defense. His best wins were Frye and Igor (who had had to fight two times that night, whereas Coleman only had to fight once). Come on.
