Good to see that. May come as a surprise to some, but Miller's in his 7th year in the UFC and the true veteran of the card. He has never had a consistent streak in the UFC, but has a knack for beating guys that he's not supposed to beat and pulling off great subs. Hope the Cerrone fight materializes!

Brad Tavares is 7-1 in the UFC and has been fighting in there since 2010. Surprised he's only getting 16k/16k. Would think he'd at least be getting 20k/20k at this point.

He got the 50K bonus for SOTN, but bonuses should be based on or at least factor in, strength of opponent.

Sam S. was a complete mismatch in so many ways (experience, height, reach, speed, etc.). He'd never even faced a name before.

50K bonus for subbing Cerrone would be justified. 5K for Sicilia.

my thoughts exactly... especially since he's on a 4-5 fight win streak, for some reason I thought the contracts were structured so that pay would increase with wins.

That's surprising. He was on the chopping block not too long ago.

I'm guessing his original contract was for 3-4 fights in which he was getting 8k/8k. Then I am guessing he signed a new one for another 3-4 fights for 16k/16k. Which then leads me to believe he will renew the contract soon and will probably be making something like 24k/24k.

True that, UFC fighters are wayyyyy overpaid.

Dana is being too generous

Nate Diaz's is even worse. 15/15 and he has fought more than anyone since his debut in the UFC. Not sure how he agreed to a restructuring like that. Probably put way too much stock in his chances of winning the Bendo fight and took a big hit by not having the title.

Me personally, I'm not too fussed if certain fighters don't have the finishing ability but I'm sure it could be the fact he hasn't finished an opponent since baroni. That was a fantastic fight

Donald "Clownboy" Cerrone want some of the Miller Money?

Nate Diaz took a big signing bonus rather than bigger money for fight night payouts. Mike Kogan, his manager, talked about this.

Still baffles me when long time posters quote fight night payouts as actual salaries.

It was because of that McGoober call-out. The UFC rewards showmanship.

I didn't say that was his end all/be all pay. Just saying that's a very low fight purse for someone who has been in the UFC as long as him and has won FN bonuses on several occasions. A contract he is obviously regretting since he wants a new one already.

He's one of those fighter that you hope the proverbial backroom payout applies to.

He's looked better every time I've watched him fight.

Wow talk about overpaid. Disgraceful that he gets paid more than Tavares. We need a fighters union.

he never said that? Why would he regret taking a large guaranteed payment up front rather than possible payment down the line?
