I believe Colby's going to get subbed imo. Most likely in the 2nd or 3rd.

It depends on what you wanna do. On the streets, no ones gonna throw kicks and double legs aren't being thrown by people with wrestling experience. Being in a boxing stance and having more mobility and getting the quicker, more precise, stronger punches gives you more of an advantage than squaring your stance and losing that to gain kicking and takedown defense.

Every single fight I've ever seen on the street or in a bar (I live in NYC and I've seen a decent amount of them) the guys end up clinching and falling to the ground and start to hit each other on the ground. I've seen a shitload of sloppy single legs that end up working because the other guy doesn't know how to defend it. The only times I've seen straight "boxing matches" was in highschool where the black kids would "throw hands" and basically make their fight into a boxing match, and even then teep kicks would happen. Otherwise, every single fight I've seen looks exactly like an MMA fight. I've seen people kick legs, and use elbows, and get side control to hit guys in the face, all of it. It's exactly the same as what I see when I watch MMA, just not as technical. The exact same thing is true when I watch videos of street fights online, they are exactly the same as mma fights.

If someone that with "power" lands 179 sig strikes and lands 128 to the head and doesn't KO a guy he still has power and you say I don't know jack shit about MMA. Also, I'm saying this because Colby has never KOed anyone, ever, which is a FACT. I'm not just saying he has no power because I can't stand him, I'm basing that on outcomes and facts of his record and fights. I mean I must be wrong with all these other people on the forums, including people who like him, saying he has pillow hands.

Is this for real? Well maybe is cultural stuff because where i live nobody gonna get you off a guy if you chose to take then down, people only gonna end the fight if the guy is knocked out or helpless

I really want to see him lose, but then again I dont want to watch him fight, even for free.
Colby vs Usman is a snoozer not worth watching on a stream.

You're not seriously suggesting Colby's a power puncher are you? He threw the most strikes in UFC history and Robbie looked like he'd been through a sparring session at worst. Look at Colby's record he's finished what 1 guy in his UFC entire career with strikes?

Clinch striking is part of striking you know? An extremely important part actually. It was pretty even

But is not what is being discussed in this thread. Those clinch strikes where when he hold RDA against the fence, he didn't used Muay Thai clinch or anything like that.

That is still a part of striking in MMA. People get the shit beat out of them there, the same way they do in open space. It's just a different striking range, but still striking

He's not a power puncher but he does punch hard. You can throw hard punches that don't end fights but still hurt your opponent. And no, he didn't look like he'd been throug a sparring session otherwise every fighter would look like that going into the cage.

Hah I was being a touch facetious with sparring session I admit but Colby does not have any substantive punching power he didn't have Robbie hurt once. He ran over him sure, the sheer number of strikes and his relentless pace is absolutely impressive, his punching power certainly isn't.

Nah Colby out struck him pretty throughly, also threw way more volume
There was a 60 second sequence that colby was losing in the first round. after that it was pure domination.
