One of the few tittle defense fights where I'm over 90% sure of who is going to win.
I can see Colby beating anyone else, I even give him a good shot against Usman. But Tyron is another animal, way too powerful and his style doesn't match well against Tyron.

The only way I can picture him winning is if he does an excellent strategical fight. He needs to avoid damage for 5 rounds (obviously), keep the pressure and somehow make Tyron tired and less active after the second or third round.
He's not going to hurt him, he's not going to outwrestle, he won't be able to hold him against the cage.. but he might be able to look more active, avoid damage, confuse Tyron and make him tired.
Nothing is impossible but what's the probability? I just don't see it happening specially when you only have one way to win without any plan B or C.

disagree. Woodley has only faced one decent clinch/bodylock fighter and got controlled for a majority of the fight (shields). While that was a long time ago, he's still at duke roufus who's fighters have always gotten outted by good clinch fighters (Guida v Pettis comes to mind). Plus Woodley doesn't have the gas tank to get in a clinch fight for 5 rounds. Colby is a much more evolved clinch fighter than shields and much more athletic as well.Woodley via KO or Colby via UD but I doubt Woodley KOs Colby. We'll see. A lot and I mean a lot of people were talking about how RDA was gonna smoke Colby.

Maia has a rudimentary at best chain wrestling game and rarely tries to clinch with fighters as well. Plus Colby can shoot 40 times in a fight if he wants to.

Woodly cracks moving forward though, and Colby won't give him space. Shields decisioned him, Colby is more active.
