I wasn't expecting a Cody decision win. Maybe a flash KO beforehand but, I am still shocked by the decision win. I knew he was good and we know Cruz is great. It was awesome to see it and to be presently witnessing a star born.

But I liked cruz and after hearing a few snippets this week, I really came to dislike him and think he was a bit of a bully asshole.

True. Maddux has walked out with cody for a long time. Giving him the belt was awesome. I never understood all the hate garbrandt got here. He showed no love for cruz but all class after the win. Great fight too. Cant wait for garbrandt/dillashaw. Tj showed great skills but i dont think he gained any fans after he spoke.

I could see this, i'm a bit of an abandoned by my parents sort of soul, so i know what it's like to have a bad background and sort of handle the rage that it puts in you. I guess that's what really got on my nerves about cruz this time. On one hand he tries to play this cool suave cat who's a journalists, tries to talk way smarter then he really is using vocabulary that's faulty. on the other hand he's a fighter and just as petty as the next guy going into the cage.

I guess i just couldn't handle the hypocrisy. Good on Cody

I think cody should of been popular with fans awhile now but he seemed a hot head and nobody knew the real cody. They remember him pushing conor on tuf and having a short temper or the guy who dated pvz.
