Cody garbrandt what if scenario

The biggest "What If" for Cody in my mind is:
What if he had coaching that kept him fighting smart. The second would be what if he fought a clean TJ?

I actually like the idea of him cutting to Fly Weight to get a win or two and take on Benavidez for a 2nd division title.

Had Cody not been rushed and thrown in there with the best of the best so early in his career, where would he be career-wise in your opinions?
He beat everybody and then beat the champion. He was the champion, what are you talking about? He lost to Pillashaw twice and TJ stole his soul. Munhoz just shoveled dirt on his grave.

Had he not fought emotionally, he might still be champ.

He studied Cruz for many years and put up a great counter striking game plan.
TJ evolved too fast and was 10 pounds heavier on fight night. Cody still nearly won, as TJ was saved by the bell.

Now his chin is even more shot and he thinks he needs to prove something.

He has T Rex arms and will always be in range.
Him improving his leg kicks a lot, also changed his style a little bit more upward and more toward kickboxing, which means slower feet.
He needed those super fast wheels and that upper body movement to get out of range.

Skillwise he will always be top3, but he should fight at 125 as he doesn't make enough weight.
How do you think he'd look if he started wrestling more? He's a state champ isn't he?

Hes a tool but got unlucky against cheatin dillasnake. He beats cejudo imo.

He at least should threaten with takedowns. He is damn good wrestler.
Right now his opponents only look out for his right hand hook.

Things Garbrandt said that were true, but a lot of people didn't believe him:
1. TJ is on Epo - proven
2. He dropped him in sparring - showed the video
3. TAM is on roids - Mendes got caught

4. TJ WAS the lesser wrestler - well I believe him here, too

McGregor:
Height 175 Reach 188
Garbrandt
Height 173 Reach 166

It's crazy

TAM is on roids but he's not? ND And they kept tj around even after finding out that he was juicing? Hmmo_O
<WhoJeff>
Yeah tj is definitely a cheater. That's established by why did they keep him around if he was such toxic influence on the team? Someone dropped the ball. Urijah has some 'splaining to do.

Maybe he is, but he is 5-10 pounds too light for his weightclass.
Doesn't cut enough weight.
Has no neck and his abs aren't as present as other TAM members.

yeah lighting and such, but the difference is visible. Hgh(faber vs no Hgh also.

I'm a fan of some TAM fighters and don't have a problem with PEDs. Just sayin.

There are a few guys who are "What if's" that fought TJ - in hindsight.
