How do you see this one playing out?
Will Cody turn around his career at this new weight class?

Fighters who drop a weight class down tend to have a problem with the speed of their opponents.
As far as hand speed goes, I don't think that will pose any problems as Cody was both the fastest and most powerful bw of all time.
A good thing also is that for his last few fights, he wasn't hurt so his chin will be refreshed as well. Also the fact that he was used to getting hit by bantamweights might aid his durability.

I would be shocked if the team at City Kickboxing hasn’t come up with some elaborate strategy to neutralize Cody’s striking

However I have doubts about France’s ability to carry out said plan. So I’m expecting Cody to KO France

If Cody can't win he needs to retire. Kai-Kara isn't bad but still.

Kai wins by UD. Cody's best days are behind him, and Kai's are still ahead.

Winner gets right back into contention.

I'm actually excited about this fight.

I think Cody biggest advantage at BW was his speed and he will lose some of that at 125.

With that said he will be pretty tall for the division.

Pretty much this. I expect Cody to win this one, assuming his weight cut goes smoothly.

He'll prob still be at a reach disadvantage tho with his 65 1/2 inch reach. Then again Valentina has a 1 inch reach advantage on him too ...

Face tats has dropped 4 out of his last 5, and showed some horrible fight iq. Also his liver was giving him issues cutting down to manlet weights for so long.

France should take this one.

his glass chin will be even worse with cutting more weight.

kai is very good. if this cut takes a lot out of cody (which i don’t think it will) he could stop cody, but i think cody’s boxing is good enough to carry him here.

Cody gotta go gun blazing, point fighting doesn't help him much with improper head movement which we seen from the rob front showcase, maybe mix a td or two and work the body.

Cody will obliterate France.

Easy fight for Cody. If he loses to France, it's time to walk away

Big fan of Cody. I feel like if Cody can't discard Kara-France in less than 2 rounds, he should really reconsider all of this. Bold move to go down in weight after his Covid battle, hope his power and quickness can shine at FLW.

Prolly Cody but will possibly bak Kara...

Hard to really step there tho...
