Yeah, probably. McGregor's boxing is good, and great by MMA standards, but his bread and butter is putting people away with that left hand; that's not a very effective strategy in a boxing match, where your opponent only focus is defending themselves from getting hit by your hands and you're wearing much bigger gloves. Cody is more of a combination puncher and is more diverse with his strikes than Conor, which surely translates better into boxing. Conor's definitely up there though. His boxing is great, and him getting beat by Floyd F*cking Mayweather doesn't prove otherwise. He held his own in that fight, which says a lot!

See the 2nd Diaz fight for reference. If Conor doesn't KO you early then he starts moving like a HW.

No disrespect to Cody, but he wouldn't do anything against a legitimate world class boxer. Cody is a very good boxer within MMA, but you're out of your mind if you think he'd be competitive against someone like Gervonta. Hell, the amateurs who compete on the international world stage (e.g., world championships and Olympics) would besmirch Cody.
