yes, the current govt has had a significant impact on inflation. dumber, the recent 'inflation bill' is inflationary (tl;dr - tax credits promote buying)

global trends are what they are because other govts did similar shit and generally, monetary policy follows the usa/fed's lead, for the most part. eg, the dollar's relative strength vs other currencies while under high inflationary pressures here.

that said, i think (hope) it's finally peaked, but it never should have ran this hot, to begin with. that said (that saider?)... the recent stupid spending bills might undo the slowing of recent months and restart it, we're not clearly out of the deep end yet.

Tulsi showed us what happens if you are not in the club after she took out Kamala. DNC will literally remove you from the debates and YouTube will demonitize your content. I didn't become a super Trumper or even very political under after the 2020 election. I had mentioned on here during the democrat primaries that she seemed good, but doing so you called a right-winger and only wanted her to gain traction cause she has no chance, etc. lol

It's a dream, I know, but there are steps we can take to make it easier. The kind of meaningful campaign finance reform and oversight it would take to get to a place where wealth is not the key factor in your ability to be a candidate is out of reach for this generation, but progress is not.
