Its a funny parallel that CM came over and didn't use his skillset (promotion/personality) and wasn't anywhere near a competent fighter. WWE is probably paying a premium for Rousey after her promos have been cringeworthy... maybe she'll be an amazing wrestler but it looks like a Phil Brooks level misstep

Ronda will probably never be a great worker, or cut great promos, but she will be leagues ahead in wrestling, than Punk was in mma.
 
Brock Lesnar is AWFUL on the mic and is one of the WWE's biggest stars on their roster...

Thankfully they paired him up with Heyman again and he doesn't have to utter a single word...

Just stand their and look mad

I know they brought Baszler to NXT (and she's doing good work)

And I know that they brought her so they could start a 4 Horsewomen vs 4 Horsewomen feud somewhere down the road....

But as far as I know, she isn't officially in yet

I know she's done a few stints but nothing long term...

Disagree, WWE is scripted. They can push her and make her look strong.

Punk decided not to play his character (which must of been a slap in the face to the UFC) and he ended up being a shit fighter, Rousey can be built up as a badass (she is a legit fighter unlike the other wrestlers) plus they will have writers writing her promos.
 
Yet Ronda will probably be successful, whereas CM will always be...

Wrestling is fake, not a professional sport. How the fuck are they even close to similar?

To an extent...

Recently the WWE gave Jinder Mahal a championship push and it was not received well by the fans at all...

And as for the promo's that they wrote for him during said championship push...



Thankfully, they took the strap off of him recently and I doubt he will ever get a top guy run ever again...

At first yes but after a while there are gonna be issues: she is really bad at acting fortunately for her so are the other women right now. She is also not good at working with other people, especially other women.
Also, she's coming after two one sided KO losses, so much of her popularity is not there anymore.
