Drinking alcohol in a standard quantity like a beer or glass of wine also does not do that and is much healthier as Pepsi or any other softdrink. Seeing how dramatically improved early onset diabetes percentages are you are literally making your kids ill by giving them crap like that to drink.

Beating kids has nothing to do with alcohol but with being an agressive looser as father/mother. So I don`t quite get what this straight edge should mean. Healthy lifestyle sure isnt the meaning.

I don't follow pro wrestling, but from friends and various internet posts/articles I gathered that CM Punk was a straight edger. I was just reading an article about Punk on Sherdog, where his teammate was talking about his upcoming fight. In the article the teammate alluded to Punk doing some hard partying.

It`s all about the quantity. I am talking from a german point of view and with especially beer and wine we have very high production standards. To drink something like this is healthy and has no negative effect. If you don`t believe me there are tons of researches out there. Just read. Quantity and quality of the product are the deciding factors. There should be no additives in the product at all like sugar, chemicals etc.

And that alcohol makes people agressive. I would say no not everyone absolutely not. It is a matter of personality and again of how much you drink. I am talking about f.e. 2 glasses of quality wine to dine or one cognac in the evening. Getting drunk is detrimental to your health absolutely and people do stupid shit when they are. We are on the same page with that.

Neither do I (apart from supplements), except for very occasionally when the situation demands it socially. I wouldn't say i'm straight edge because I have never made a point to NOT drink / smoke / etc. I just am naturally not drawn to do these things. When somebody asks me why I don't drink i'll tell them for the opposite reasons that you do.
