So I'm pretty old, own my own house and have two kids. The kids kept on clogging up their bathroom toilet with wipes and shit. I always used just a normal plunger to fix it and normally after about 10 minutes I could fix it. The clog today though the plunger didn't do shit(pun). I had never heard of this before but I guess a simple search of YouTube has fixed my problem in under five minutes!
Dish soap and hot water= unclogged toilet. Had never heard of this method prior to today. Sharing to save you all sherdoggers time when you take your giant beer/pizza shits tomorrow morning after the Stipe fight.

Stop flushing your tampons down the toilet and you won't have to do this. :p

Baking Soda with that Hot Water. Rather than dish washing soap.

How old are your kids? Make them do it next time?

Train your children not to clog the toilet.

I just dump drano. If you'r cheap you can take the empty bottle back and say it didn't work an get cash back

I never thought of that, but it makes sense. Dish soap is very slippery yet somehow viscous. And I guess hot water breaks up all the poo?

I would never take a chance on flushing a second time and having shit water all over the floor. I'm sticking with the plunger.

This is why I just shit in the street Chinamen style

Palmolive will neutrify grease and separate it from dishes so it flows away.

Those kids are pushing out some large water snakes. Stop feeding them, see if that helps.

Lol I looked this up like 3 days ago. And yea it worked.

Kids always clog the bowl.

They just don't have enough wiping experience to manage their toilet paper usage better. They use so much of it but don't know better.

If they're using non flushable wipes, tell them to stop flushing them. If they're flushable they will break down anyway so not too much to worry about.

My son clogs the toilet all the time. I even bought a new toilet that was supposedly uncloggable. But he clogs it anyway.

I've punished him, explained in great detail how much toilet paper can go in one flush, even threatened to supervise his poops. Nothing works. He still clogs it.

Fortunately he's finally old enough where i can make him unclog it himself. Sometimes with the plunger and sometimes he had to use a snake.

You would think that after a while he'd stop clogging it, but nope. He just keeps on doing it even though he has to spend like 20 minutes unclogging it about 3 times a week.

I'm not going to show him this method, because then he'll care even less.

I just get my hands dirty and that does the trick.
