Just posting this as many of you know about my ongoing back problems. I went for an MRI and it took them a bit to pull my metal body off the machine.

Anyway, went to the doctor and he came in and asked how I was doing ... I told him "you tell me". And then he asked if I was in pain ... at the moment I wasn't and he said something like "you should be"

What the fuck is wrong with me.

I tried to donate blood yesterday with the wife and we were both rejected, her low iron and me because they didn't want to take blood without me having my MRI results. The Blood guy said I could have cancer pushing against my nerves and they don't want cancer blood. I never even thought of that as an option! Thanks blood guy for making me paranoid!!! Fucking blood people I swear.

Anyway, my L4 and L5 discs are fucked and I've been referred to a spinal surgeon. One of them is bulging out particularly hard causing the nerve pain and the two instances I was stuck on the floor.

You're not going to believe me but my spine DR will be DOCTOR MANSON!! Look it up, Dr. Manson from Saint John

I just went to my nephews school concert and sat on a fucking horrible school chair which messed my back up. I had to leave after his second grade concert was up. If he was in grade 5 I would have been fucked.

I made some jokes cause I noticed a lot of the pipes were duct taped together and I was like "does Red Green run this school?" And a person next to me was like "THIS SCHOOL HAS NO MONEY!! THAT DUCT TAPE CAME FROM MY HOUSE!!"

So ummm.... that's my life this week Merry Christmas!!

My dr basically told me that back surgery sucks and it often leaves you more screwed up .... and physio is the best thing for me right now.

Anyway the spine dr is going to assess the situation and decide if I need surgery, what kind of surgery, if I need to have a disc shaved off or something crazy

And Canada has free healthcare so it's free (yay) but Dr said wait list is LONG for this stuff and it could be some time before I get a call ...

....

Hey @Clippy dont worry about it man. I’ve been through a lot of horrible medical problems in my life, lots of surgeries, you just gotta be strong, keep the faith, rely on your family for support, you’ll get better soon no problem.

Hmm. I thought that in Canada it was all communist weed and that the government just drops your weed stipend on your doorstep each month. In any case, you should be smoking weed either way - I'm talking about real drugs.

Sorry to hear this. If it makes you feel better I just had my knee pop in BJJ during training. Was using De La Riva guard but I was doing it wrong and then my opponent kind of bent my knee weird and yea. My knee feels unstable so I know somethings wrong. Hoping I can just rest it this long weekend and I'll be fine.

I used to take Ju Jutsu years ago and it sucks to be hurt when you want to practice. My ankles roll out sometimes and I fucking fell down while skipping rope and had a limp rest of the class.

Just recently I visited my Sister in Law, got out of the car and slipped on the sole tiny patch of ice in the driveway, went down and crawled around for a bit bending my knee in the opposite direction. I didn't even shut the car door yet, down on the ground on step one with back issues.

Good times.
