I have been training in Kickboxing for a long time now I train 4 times a week we're training "K1" rules 2 times a week I was training no gi and now thinking about making those 2 days wrestling. I want to be the most "complete" fighter (I know I'll never be complete but it's a nice goal to work for).
In our gym the clinching is limited you can hold but only for 1 strike, I'm thinking about buying a card at a muay thai gym where I can train 10 times at that gym whenever I want and I would just go once a week to train pure Muay thai and cut back kickboxing to 3 times a week.
My question to you guys is do you think that I could get good enough at defending myself on the clinch with only 1 time a week training? I obviously train the rest at kickboxing but when I hear people talk about the Muay thai clinch it sounds like a difficult science on it's own.
