I mean, I get he had his reasons, but it seems kind of odd to suddenly pop up like “I’m ready to go, where is everybody?” So soon after turning down the interim fight.

Yes, the LW fight I most want to see is Tony vs Khabib. I’d prefer to see that before Khabib vs the interim champ. Not going to happen, but that’s the most compelling fight right now.

However, since Khabib is out for a bit, and there is already an interim title shot set up, he should fight Mcgregor.

Forget about who deserves what. It’s a good fight. Good enough to headline a card. Which is what Conor wants. And Tony will get a good payday out of it. Just as good, maybe even better, than if he was fighting for the title.
