Some of these fighters are losing their hunger:
Rashad
Overeem
Dos Santos
Fitch

Not to say they aren't training as much as possible but leading up to their fights I could tell they didn't have the fire in their eyes.

I took a parlay on Big Foot and Aldo.. a parlay with Maia Benevidez .. Then had a straight bet on Cain

The only reason I took those bets was because the underdogs seemed to want it MORE.

Does anyone else carefully consider that when betting or calling fights for underdogs?
Obviously only when skills and reach are close..

Any awesome calls people had recently? ?

I don't think Maia/Fitch, Dos Santos/Cain or Overeem/Bigfoot had anything to do with who wants it more.

maia brought the fight to Fitch. Fitch wasn't expecting Maia to force takedowns right off the bat and Maia did it so well that fitch fell behind and was forced to go for a KO(opening him up even more to takedowns).

Bigfoot vs Reem was more about Reem being nervous and him gassing after dominating the first round.

Rashad vs Lil Nog was about who wanted it more. What's said is Nog didn't seem to want it that much that he imposed his will. It's just Rashad had lost the hunger so much he did literally nothing.

Wait, JDS lost his hunger? Am I missing something? He loses to the best HW in the world and now he's lost it lol man...some people...

To say that JDS lost his hunger is dumb he actually showed tremendous heart. Fought cain for 25 mins while rocked and gassed and still was going after it.

Idk.. considering the purgatory Fitch is in at welterweight I give the edge in desire to Maia who is a rising welterweight. . Whereas as Fitch was just looking for a paycheck. . I could be wrong about Fitch I agree

In reems mind he already won. . Looked past Silva.. obviously didn't hit the gym so hard thinking he was in for the fight off his life. . And he had the gas tank and physique to prove it

For Cain.. Man when he said he was gonna take that belt I friggin believed him. I think dos Santos came prepared though

Nah man Cain just wanted it more I think

And Dos Santos newfound fame may have been getting to him. .
It happened to many fighters.. BJ, GSP, Diego, more... just a guess

This is now about. . " DO YOU CONSIDER THESE THING S WHEN YOU CALL FIGHTS"

I was just pointing out what lead me to guess the right picks

Wanted it more, also known as better skillz. I like jeff sher i wood.

you could make a case for that being the reason with evans/lil nog' but idk about maia/fitch, just looked to me like fitch got outgrappled by a better grappler.

None of those fighters were big underdogs except for Bigfoot and Rogerio (and you didn't bet on Rogerio). I don't pretend to know a fighter's mindset unless I hear firsthand information from their camps or if there is a greater trend of uninspired performance (like Rampage).

Also recent rash of strike force transplants dominating

They want it more???

I don't know. ..

What I'm getting at is there is more to these match ups than what's on paper.

The bookies don't seem to consider dos Santos divorce, or Rashads/Overeem lack of preparation.

There's a lot of money to be made if you can catch these things.

I yelled, "Head kick Vitor!" the moment before he threw it against Bisping.

Nice!! I had vitor and Dollaway on a parlay.

Also made big money that night on pepey Castro, dollaway, Lentz parlay. . It was +1600 with those 3 underdogs

this is what i predict..bobby green will fight bendo and make it intresting
tyron woodley will now think he is ghokan saki and he is gonna kicked into oblivion by alvez
mousasi will lose a close decision to gus move down to middle weight and take the belt after anderson retires
OSP will get a shot at jones in 2014

Skills and ability tell over time. I don't think betting on who you think is more inspired or rumours is a very sure way of making money.

Agreed. He stayed in that fight on nothing but a sheer will to compete. The fact that the Vegas crowd booed him afterwards was shameful. Everyone who booed JDS should have been spayed or neutered to prevent them from reproducing.

I yelled "TRIANGLE CHOKE ROYCE!!!" when I was in the front row at UFC 4 in the tournament finals. :icon_lol:

But no really, I was yelling for a classic Vitor flurry of punches to Bisping's head.

you have no idea if this is true or not and there is no proof either way. If he didn't think Bigfoot had a shot why was he so nervous backstage? Also Reem's gas tank has always been mediocre. It's just something he physically always struggles with.

Also Fitch has had a ton of monetary problems and gets twice as much money with a win as a loss. he most certainly was motivated to win.

Sorry but if you want people to believe these things you need actual facts.
