they are made of leather so u cant just wash them
got any ideas on how to clean them to get rid of the sweat, smell and bacteria??

some of the ways i have heard about r
just leaving them to dry in air over night
using shaving cream????? o_O which as they say will help also to soften the leather
    baking soda ....... etc

I've used lysol on a bunch of different gloves and it hasn't hurt the leather. I haven't tried this, but I've read you can also stick them in a ziploc bag and put them in a freezer, and all the bacteria will die.

the cold temp will def kill the bacteria but wouldnt that damage the leather or something like making it crack?

  4. I spray mine with Oust and let them dry in front of a fan when i can.
DEFINITELY NOT in a Gym Bag.

After Freezing, just make sure they are allowed to thaw out before you bend them. No problems there.

ozone is the preferred method. Freezing will not kill bacteria it will slow the growth but not kill it. Look for hockey equipment cleaning companies at a hockey rink near you. they will often have a franchised cleaning company that use ozone cleaning. below are several I'm aware of

With the guys who are using Lysol disinfect wipes, do you wipe the inside and outside? (Of course after the wipe you would air it out.) I was wondering if the wipes would cause any harm to the leather.

To add, I've been wiping the gloves after my workout, then when I get home, I leave my gloves outside to air out for a few hours.

I use Lysol wipes on all my gear, no problems with it yet.

Hope to get Gonzaginator, Clamp, TigerShark or ECS123 take on this.
I built my own ''Power Dry'' rig with the household dehumidifier and a hanging rack.
