Classiest post-fight press conferences: DC after Oezdemir, Dom after Cody

Great examples of class acts: one is honest in defeat, the other gracious in victory.



Some notable points from DC:
  1. About his being shorter than everyone he fights, he said it is what it is and fights are started on the feet so he has to deal with it. He'd love it if they started in the down position, but that he was hurting Oezdemir on the feet
  2. He's "got nothing for HW" while Cain is still in the game, said Cain has been a source of inspiration and been there for him
  3. Stipe vs Cain would be the greatest HW fight of all time (hard to argue with that, if Cain can make it back)
  4. Explained that Rockhold is his boy and that there's no rift. He gave a thoughtful response and came across as very authentic
Sometimes DC has had to hype up fights, but I love when he's real like this. Just an awesome person and class act.



We've talked about Dom's PC before. He took the questions like a champ.

The dude teaches youth wrestling in his spare time.

It baffles the mind how people don't like Daniel Cormier, he's everything i want a champion to be.
 
it is a shame decency is so undervalued these days.

He's fat aswell, and looks like 85% of Sherdog, surprising he isnt heralded as a GOAT.

yeah they were super hot for Stipe too

Boston was really going for the Americans last night not necessarily DC and Stipe individually but it was nice to see two of the sports good guys get some love

I liked Oezdemir's attitude after the loss too. He realized he had a lot to learn and he and DC had a ton of respect for each other. Volkan is still my boy!
