I do not post in here too much but wanted to share.

I go the gym 3-5 times a week, and I've started going to classes twice a week.

I'm really impressed. the classes use light weights, skipping ropes, steps etc.

Once you get past the shock of being 2 guys and 25 chicks, its worth it.

Anyone else? Give it a try!

I did one of those core classes one time. All girls pretty much. It was a good class though. I was playing volleyball at the time and I started jumping higher also while I went to this lady's class. So it had a noticeable positive effect.

Your muff must have had DOMS for days.

I feel like I would normally flame TS, but that 2007 join date just commands respect.

In all honesty, the classes at my old gym seemed pretty fun and lighthearted Typically when I'm in the gym I'm usually trying to do my best George Leeman or Kirk Kaworski impersonation.

I would probably do them for cardio if I had a girlfriend or something to go with me.

I view these classes the same way that I view home workout programs (p90x, Insanity, RushFit etc). They are a good way for your average joe to get active and become healthier and if that is your only goal then good for it. It's much better than sitting on your ass doing nothing.

However if you have more specific goals there are significantly better ways to achieve them. e.g. if you want to get strong follow a proper lifting program.

I have a workout I've been waiting to market. Basically, we roll people up in a very large rug and they thrash about, trying to escape, for a period of time. Maybe as little as three minutes. Gets the heart rate up, engages all the muscles (core included) and works up a good sweat, fast fast fast.

I'm designing special program-approved rugs, a franchise structure, we'll hire some fitness models to do our informercial...

Investment opportunities available.
