Everything went downhill for Brian after that. He was losing but it seemed to derail pretty quick after that. It seemed to rock him pretty good.

In all the excitement they never went back and looked at it. Curious to see gifs or replays of it.

I missed the replay on that, or did they even show it?

There was a couple nasty clashes of heads in there. That first one fucked his nose up good though.

I noticed a few of them, just with the height difference. It definitely affected the fight. We'll never know how much though.

Those are more concussive than anything. Brian's brain was fried in there.

I think it all unraveled when Ortega couldn't get those submissions. Whick Volk predicted

Southpaw versus orthodox, comes with the territory.

There was a moment before all of the chaos where it looked like a headbutt wobbled Ortega pretty good.

But yea, not getting those subs would be deflating. The fact he still was going for it after all of that just shows the heart he had. 99.9 percent of fighters get finished after that last sub attempt that failed.

I think the second one was the one that really hurt him though. He wobbled after it.

I counted at least 3-4 solid head clashes.
It’s unfortunate, but ref didn’t see the need to stop it other than the once, and he’s got the best view.

They definitely suck though and hate to see them alter the course of a fight when they do.

Volk was touching and tagging him up like crazy anyway. A) shit happens in a fight B) Volk was just plain better. Period.

They talked a lot about the clash of heads but didn't say much about the huge fucking right that Volk landed

Was that when he wobbled? To bad they didnt show a replay of that sequence cause there was so much other shit going on. I wanted to see what happened slowed down.

It absolutely went downhill, the ensuing action lead the commentators to forget. After the fifth round, it really should make one wonder if things could have been different

I caught one towards the end of the fight, but missed the one that supposedly broke Brian's nose. Would like to see that as well.

In was in the vicinity but yea they never went back and showed shit
Biggest shot of the fight to that point and all we hear about is the head clash if it happened at all
Who knows I was rooting for Volk so I'm prob biased as fk
