I've done alot of research on him hes very talented but was pretty undersized I haven't seen his most recent fight so its possible hes bulking up and filling out but hes fun as hell to watch.

I thought he'd take the normal American route of dropping instead of moving up lol

Perhaps not cutting appeals to him considering his muscular build.

Why? It was perfectly appropriate to say that.

And quite frankly i still dont see him as it.

Boring point fighter with no power. Ngannou is gonna bum rush him and KO him and he will join the other potential "Ngannou killers"

Well, claiming that he has power and K1 level striking is deceiving. He has power and k1 level striking in the same way that Ronda had great striking.

Nice thread. I was impressed when he destroyed Dyzcka. Been on the Gane train ever since.

Most heavyweights are 2-0 when Sherdog discovers them. I did remember this thread though and I guess semi-proud we're right but truth is that usually we spot prospects coming miles in advance so it's not quite new.

Plus, there are dozens of similar threads hailing a new future UFC champ but how many are busts that dont even make the UFC.

Was hoping I had made a comment in this <mma4>-thread, am kinda disappointed.

Gane gaining steam!!! Hype train going maximum velocity straight ahead! IIt'll be an epic collision with Ngannou's hype train!!

Haha ah. You got me. Fortunately, I can laugh at myself for being wrong. I hope that gravedigging this comment made you feel better about yourself and your 100% pick rate. Either way, Cereal Gain is still boring to me. And I can still think of a few HW's that would beat him. I mean, really, beating black beast isn't THAT impressive. And point fighting is still boring. That said, I can admit that he's better than I thought he was.

point fighting? dude has a 70% finish rate and 4 finishes in the UFC with 3 decisions. You're just blatantly salty. respect to the last sentence but that's all there should of been.

not to mention the 9 finishes in 13 kickboxing fights. Furthermore proves he ain't point fighting.

Oof you really like this guy. His finish rate is like Bisping’s. He tends to out cardio guys. Wear them down. How? By point fighting. Lol. Lots of stick and move. Which, I respect the skill level and athleticism that it takes to do that.

not my cup of tea. But he’s still much better than I thought. And still plenty of potential.

No I dont care at all really, I enjoy KOs and finishers as much as the next guy, but stats dont lie, he finishes more than he doesn't, stop trying to put him in with the Jon Fitches and Jared Rosholt point fighters, the mans gameplan works very well as he surgically dissects his opponents till their soul breaks and Cyril gets the finish. I love it, takes an incredible amount of skill to do this
