Chuck Liddell "MMA fighters will never beat Floyd Mayweather in boxing"

Floyd should fight like a real man. Which is laying on top of another man grinding on him until one is submissive to it.

Now that’s a real fight!

Boxing is even safer than MMA in a sense where there is even a less chance for an MMA fighter to beat a pro boxer. A pro boxer always has that punchers chance in an MMA fight but when a MMA fighter fights a pro boxer they are literally fighting someone who has been training strictly boxing since they were 7-8. Also doesn’t help that the finish rate in boxing is much lower so it comes down to skill for skill, cardio for cardio, where a boxer would win 100% of the time.

Don’t get me wrong there is always a punchers chance for an MMA fighter as well, but it’s significantly lower.

I think someone will have a chance in 10 years when he's in his 50s. Not now.

People are making fun of Chuck for "stating the obvious", but I swear I really think there are some fans and stupid people who believe UFC fighters can beat Floyd in a boxing match. I've argued with some of them on here. No one in UFC is beating Floyd, he will clown them all and just laugh his way too the bank at the end as usual.

The only thing that would be mildly interesting to me is if Floyd did a UFC fight with MMA rules, but its never ever gonna happen, zero chance, so yeah totally boring to talk about it

Same concept for wrestling and BJJ. At least the specialist has some avenue to victory in MMA but the MMA fighter has almost no chance to win in the opponent's specialty.

“He’s one of the best defensive boxers of all time. How are you gonna beat him in a boxing match If you never boxed?"

Man has a point.

Like Floyd said, stay in your lane. You dont see Mayweather going to the UFC because he knows that he would get absolutely wrecked. Any pro boxer would.

Maybe not any. Ray Mercer knocked out Tim Sylvia in an MMA fight.

Well of course. I mean I could keep trolling and joking about Conor beating him, but the sensible and clear headed part of me knows that it's virtually impossible. A man who was literally born to box and has intensively worked on his skill and honed his athleticism to be the best boxer possible and done so his entire life, does not get beat by an MMA fighter in boxing.

First thing I heard Chuck say something that makes sense in while

Just like Floyd wouldn't beat any ufc fighter
The chances for him beating a UFC fighter in the octagon especially after a little training are TREMENDOUSLY higher than any UFC fighter beating him. Even at his age. Floyd is a master at his craft.

what if mike trout played hockey
think about that

i thought this was obvious to everyone.

I actually bet there's some UFC fighters Floyd could beat.. like honestly I bet Floyd would wipe the floor with someone like Diego Sanchez grappling involved or not lol
Diego is way heavier and would outwrestle the shit out of him. Unless his stupid coach would tell him to move like a shadow...
