Rather Nolan do BOTH Illiad and Tbe Oddesy. Troy imo didn't do Illiad justice. He should do both but kinda tough now as Oddesy is after. But definitley will watch. Holland and Zendya are bad choices?

I won't doubt Nolan maybe he wanted a challenge but damn there were better choices for the leads. Literally every actor wants to work with Nolan and would tske less to do it.

They are in their 20s anyway an thought the story was Oddesyus was mid 30s to mid 40s.

Maybe Nolan is almost too confident in his abilities at this point that he feels he can get a great performance out of some objectively terrible I mean limited actors.

Yeah I actually like Nolan, & am grateful for the work he's put in to preserve film & cinema over the years. He's an overall force for good in the world.

He's also an immensely talented artist who somehow makes a bunch of mediocre bordering on crappy movies somehow, the last buncha years. Which is frustating. His old stuff is so much better.

Like I said though I like him, I'm rooting for him. I showed up to TENET to support the man's ballsy efforts to get the theatrical experience back online end of the lockdowns.

I just wish he'd make another absolute banger, which he's totally capable of. This new one ain't gonna be it though.
 
Make another dark knight Nolan. We dont want little boy holand and crypto matt.

Looks surprising simple in the choice of materials compared to let's say the usual rich greek/roman aesthetic one see in movies

Same for Damon himself, looks strong but they did'nt turned him into some 300 like oiled bodybuilder

Is original take, i can see why Nolan may have been intrigued by the challenge of give bland realistic look to something ancient and mitical

In all this as mediterranean guy only thing that looks very off to me is Damon is one pasty pale motherfucker, i have hard time imagine him as ancient greek warrior that fought and sailed for years under the sun, dude should have hell of a tan

Somebody like Pedro Pascal would have been way more believable Odysseus
