He'll fight Bisping, because Bisping is a huge draw, and a title fight in London will be huge for Silva, Bisping and the UFC.

He doesn't want to fight Weidman for the same reason no one wants to fight every other loud mouth who gets one good knockout, and suddenly thinks they are the best.

I actually agree with the munoz decision. Controversial I know. And your on drugs if you think he didn't win the Maia fight. Beating two top 5 guys gets you a title shot in any division that doesn't have a champ not defending his title.

And weidman had fought strikers, wrestlers, and bjj guys. What more vvariety is there?

He could still face a wrestler of better calibre than Munoz, who's MMA wrestling hasn't been great, and better strikers than he's faced too, I guess. One more good win should get him a shot, Weidman is very good and is as deserving as anyone else at MW right now.

no, he has had a lot of trouble with fighters who can take him down, weidman is a good wrestler and has a good bjj game..

Bisping is willing to do the homework and face Sonnen on short notice, and now Belfort in Brazil.
Before you point out that Sonnen was a loss, that was a very close fight, and many people including Dana gave it to Bisping, so for all it matters it counts more than many lukewarm wins (cough cough Boetsch-Lombard)

Weidman wants the easy path, consistently fighting the most overrated fighters in the top 10. Let's see if he gets a true challenge next time.

Defended his belt in July against the guy who was "supposedly" gonna kick his ass, ran through him now you guys are on to the next best thing. Dana and Co. don't think Weidman is ready so why do you guys?

Weidman's fans are making me dislike him and that's unfair to a good up and comer. This guy has a great upside, and even though he ducked Vitor, it's commendable he wants to get in there with Anderson. He just needs to calm down with the whining, though. If he keeps winning, he'll get his chance.

But anytime good wrestling credentials are attached to a fighter's name, then it's "Oh yeah, he'd kill Anderson." Even though, as mentioned above, Anderson has finished all these wrestlers who were supposed to be his unending.

If Weidman gets his shot, and gets trampled, who's the next threat to Anderson's title? A 185 Askren/Fitch/Kos?

Silva won't fight top wrestlers fighters. He has bad TDD and bad ground game. It's a bad match for him. Let's face it!

Dan Henderson and Chael Sonnen (two wrestlers that have far better fight records than Weidman) would kill him!! =)
