Farley is my personal GOAT. He's been gone 20 years and still nothing and nobody can make me laugh like prime Farley.
 
Belushi because he actually had talent. Farley's talents were being fat and prat falls. Super overrated.
 
only reason I brought this thread up is I've been on a random SNL kick lately, and watching a lot of late night interviews with comedians.

I don't think that's fair man, I also pick Belushi but Farley was fucking hilarious in his own right.

Yeah I know he has a lot of fans, but even in his prime I never got it. Just a fat guy falling over to me. The Kevin James of his time imo.

Yeah I know I'm in the minority here, but what can I say? His comedy just doesn't appeal to me. Now you want a big fat dude that can actually act, you go with John Goodman. GOAT fat guy, tons of range and doesn't have to fall down or fall off of things to get laughs.

Animal House is one of the goat comedy films and you can find his best of SNL stuff almost anywhere.

Blues Brothers is still an awesome watch as well.

I love Goodman so I can't disagree there.

Belushi was funny, but Farley relied on fat jokes for humor.
 
I like Farley's intensity. That had nothing to do with being fat. The guy had ridiculous energy,made me tired just watching him. Belushi had that charisma that he didnt have to be doing anything,just looking at him made you wanna start laughing. I love the samurai.

True story: I went to the same HS as Belushi (Wheaton Central/Warrenville South) in Illinois and the same college as Farley (Marquette). My vote is Belushi.
