Chris Byrd to fight at 175 pounds with new promoter??

A long time coming.

For a guy that never truly belonged @ HW, he's done exceptionally well for himself.

Maybe he'll be slightly less cautious?

I first heard about this on Friday night Fights. It's surprising, but if Byrd can get down there safely, he could be a force at 175.

at 37 he has left it way too late to make a major impact at this division.. he should have followed the age old method, like holyfield, and work up in weight not the other way... besides at lhw i still think he could nt punch his way out of a paper bag
