poor chris byrd, this thread was supposed to be a celebration of him...only to turn into hilarity. that being said, no homo for trying to celebrate him.

Well there is an espn article about him and it says that he easily got down to 190 and decided to shave off another 15 pounds because he still had alot of loose fat.

I don't know who you are but I think Byrd will gas just like how RJJ gassed when he dropped from HW to LHW.

But An incentive for him to drop down to LHW instead of going through cruisers is money fights. Who can you name in cruiser that would sell to the public?

Steve Cunningham? well that's his sparring partner...
Adamek? Jean Mark Mormeck? all highly competitive fights with alot of risk.

I can't blame him moving down to LHW where that division is stacked of money fights.

B-Hop, RJJ, Calzaghe, Glen Johnson, Tarver, Dawson and yes Felix "Tito" Trinidad could come out of retirement for a huge purse...

Thats a deep division with larger names..

Hes a natural 168, he wont gas out. Roy gassed out because he used roids to put on all that extra weight.
 
It may be a smart move...
