Because police work involves lots of paperwork. And the more educated you are, the more likely you’ll be bored and decide to quit law enforcement. But you can make detective faster with a bachelors degree as I understand it.police departments like to hire people with anything other then a criminal justice degree i heard).
. No real money in real state or auto mechanics. Unless you are happy with an under $50K salary and are good.Since doing some research over the years. And since some of my fam like mechanics and i do like cars. My dad does real estate and im a realist so ik making money in real estate is not easy, and because i got friends who worked for the airport and they are aircraft mechanics.
So i have narrowed shit down in my potential interest to:
Real estate
Auto mechanics
Aircraft mechanics
Criminal justice
So heres another thing i dont want to spend 3-4 years studying. I got fights to train for and more fights after the 2 next month. And i got other shit to worry bout.
Listen to this guy ts, he knows what’s upIt sounds like mechanics is the way to go!
Whether cars or airplanes, I suggest you dive in and learn as much as you possibly can!!
There is no substitute for learning and improving upon a useful skill!!

. You have to go to school and get a diploma or be certified, period.
. Hard to have a solid career and 'fight' at the same time. Fighting is for kids, poor investment. There is no money in it and you have to deal with all the injuries. Again, less than $50K a year unless you are good, and only 10% are good. You are probably not in the top 10%. Plus, you can only 'fight' for a limited number of years.
. I would stick to aircraft mechanics (Aerospace Industry) or criminal justice. Over $50K a year.
. Don't want to sound like a jerk, but it does not seem like you have the patience, ambition, or smarts for either of the two listed above. You don't sound very mature.
May not be realistic to suggest becoming an engineer or CS major because not everyone is cut out for that.
RN coursework is not the absolute easiest, but it’s not that hard. If you have any interest at all in this, it would be something to explore. Nothing else like it. You’re guaranteed a high salary and can work pretty much anywhere. Most hospital nurses here in the Bay Area are making $130k at least if they’re working full time. I’ve met a few prison nurses who sleep and sit on their asses putting in overtime hours and making $200-300k+.
@sweetviolenturg i didnt say i was not taking that offer but i do have a conflict of interest basically thats why im asking.
If you have good knowledge with computers and you’re a nerd. Look into Coding Bootcamps. Im in the same position looking for a new career. I’m planning on going to Dev Mountain sometime later this year. It’s 12 weeks and your housing is covered. You just have to pay tuition up front. Coding is a really high demand job right now. And there are Coding Bpotcamps all over the country that are 12 to 16 weeks. They have high job placement and some even have a job guarantee on your tuition. My dad offered to pay for college/trade school for me again. Although idk what i want to do?

And because i got friends who worked for the airport and they are aircraft mechanics (i was doing some security for the airport in 2017 and i escorted some mechanics that came from other countries to help)
So i have narrowed shit down in my potential interest to:
Real estate
Auto mechanics
Aircraft mechanics
Criminal justice (since at some point i want to be a cop but doing research on that it really doesnt matter the degree in fact police departments like to hire people with anything other then a criminal justice degree i heard).

So plz no comments on my impatience whatever i dont care for them. Nor will i respond to them.
Well, that's cool.
As I said, I wasn't trying to come down on you. I just wanted you to know that you can take advantage of both opportunities, both school & boxing if you want to.
Care to share what the conflict of interest is? If it has to do with boxing maybe I can help with some advice.
Take care.

It has nothing to do with boxing. Its just that when i was in college for 2 weeks before i had to drop out because my got towed. They put a class i didnt even need on my shit and language arts that i didnt even need because i was trying to study criminal justice, but the actual criminal justice course would not have started until fall semester.
So thats why i've been looking into trades and real estate. Being a mechanic sounds good. Being an aircraft mechanic sounds better i always did like working for the airport too. And real estate is something i thought about doing because property that i own could be helpful for both me and other people looking to set up a gym or whatever.
Aircraft mechanics or auto mechanics might be bettet for now. Im not really interested in medical shit right now i thought bout being a paramedic but then i thought nah i got to be realistic.
No, I don’t. What I do know is that, the n most government work, having a certain amount of schooling can be substituted for some amount of work experience. So you qualify for higher positions sooner than those who don’t have a higher education. Especially if your education was in a field closely aligned with your line of work. I believe many police departments work the same way when it comes to the detective position. That last part is completely false and you know it lol.
Ya military is not really a career nowadays ppl join the military to help get a jumpstart on what they want to do after. Not a lot of ppl stay past 1 contract and if they do most of the time they get discharged or end up leaving at some point.
