TLDR Version: China thinks it's catching teh gayness from the West and is now purging LGBT themed contents from games, films, television and social media.
On August 13 last year, the organisers of Shanghai’s long-running LGBT pride festival abruptly announced the event was being cancelled indefinitely without explanation. The news came as a shock to many as the event had run successfully, albeit quietly, for 11 years.

Amid the flurry of new regulations, restrictions and directives were a number specifically targeting China’s LGBT population; including the banning of LGBT social media accounts, increased censorship of discussion of LGBT issues online, gay university groups have been placed under pressure on campuses, attacks on gender identity with demands that men be macho alongside bans on “sissy” boys on television, and regulators being directed to ban “gay love” in video games.

Beijing is increasingly paranoid that big tech platforms are spreading views and ideas that run counter to traditional ideals of masculinity and femininity and are actively encouraging younger people to explore new gender identities and non-traditional forms of sexual expression.

One increasingly common narrative being pushed by government officials is that LGBT culture is a “Western” idea that was imported into China.

That "bans on 'sissy' boys on television" link is quite the read:

China calls for boycott of ‘overly entertaining’ entertainers and ‘sissy idols’ in continued purge of popular culture industry

The authorities have been
increasingly critical of the trend some refer to as “sissy men”, which include pop idols that wear make-up or who do not conform to “macho” male stereotypes prevalent in traditional Chinese culture. Some in China also see the popularity of such idols, often referred to as “little fresh meat”, as a threat to traditional social values.

Some Chinese big wig got a Netflix subscription and freaked out. It sounds like China thinks the ghey is contagious and not innate.

Can some of you Leftists just send your studies to let the Chinese know that people are simply born that way?

It's going to happen world-wide once Western influence over global affairs diminishes. The pressure against any practises deemed to derive from the West, is going to be heavy, in Asia, Africa, Middle East.

A lot of things are going to change when China gets on top, and not necessarily for the better, atleast from the perspective of those who often tend to be the most vehement critics of the West. Amidst all the self-critique and even self-loathing, one should be capable of admitting that we're ultimately better off with us on top, after seeing what the alternative is like.

Someone on here several years ago said that the us will change once white people aren’t the majority. That minorities won’t be able to use white guilt any more and just wait to see how bad it gets when someone else has the reins. It kind of looks like they were right.

So, when can we expect the nation wide boycotts of chinese made products or demands for companies to divest from China?
I've been doing my best to boycott Chinese made products for several years now.

Not possible to totally boycott Chinese made products because many products made elsewhere have components made in China...BUT..it is possible to boycott Chinese made products to a surprisingly large degree as there are competing products made here, in Europe, Thailand, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, Latin America and elsewhere.

The U.S. will definitely change, that's just inevitable because the race groups have such a difference experience from one another. The only time there aren't significant consequences resulting from a demographic change, is when that process goes very smoothly and the culture basically changes hands over time from one group to another, which inherits the values and principles of the previous group, and holds their legacy in high esteem (sometimes delusionally believing it was their own legacy). That hasn't exactly been happening in the United States, the process has been very rapid (happened within the last 20-30 years essentially) and the ethnic groups have very distinct differences from one another in their attitudes towards subjects like LGBT or politics in general. America's emerging minorities are not looking to "inherit" anything from the previous majority population, apart from the wealth, they will certainly be looking to mold the U.S. in their own image, arguably back towards a more race-conscious and "race realistic" America, although it will be done so under the guise of progressivism and racial equality.
