No, the police did not probe anything.

The kindergarten is a public and therefore Communist Party institution, the story involved Party members allegedly connected to the military, and the sexual abuse of children was allegedly widespread with several witnesses. The allegations were actually in many cases worse than what was reported in the West.

A potentially systemic sexual abuse scandal where children were assaulted under the watch of powerful people.

Too powerful.

1 - All of the parents issued "apologies" which ran on state media.

2 - All the media outlets were told the story was "over" and to move on, which they did, the story is now "over."

3 - All of the CCTV camera footage at the daycare centers in question was "lost" do to "errors" but see number "2" for details.

The story was one of a few that popped up in the Western media, but the impact of this coverup had a deep impact on a lot of Chinese.

"What can be done?" They would say, and soon, sadly most will forget.

Allegedly this, allegedly that, and even the rumors are not allowed, because there can be only one story, and the more the events cease to make sense, the more pressure to silence the questions.

But the only choice in the end is silence.

An article related to the early events:

Starting excerpt:

BEIJING/SHANGHAI (Reuters) - Chinese police are investigating claims of sexual molestation and needlemarks on children at a Beijing kindergarten run by RYB Education Inc, the latest case in a booming childcare industry to spark outrage among parents, sending the company’s New York-listed shares tumbling on Friday.

There are few articles now... nothing from the inside...

We may disagree on politics, or what political stories we like and which we consider fake news, but most posters here can be thankful they live in a world where there can be other sides to a story.

The fact that @splendica and @HomerThompson are the two that have liked this post at the time of me writing this, says that TS’ post here is 100% spot on

That's why far lefties and far righties, loyal to party, need to be ignored. They get in bubbles and think only their political beliefs should be allowed to exist. The left, more recently, has engaged in above the law behavior based on political status, as seen in the last election, and as buried by the media.

Im private, outside the media, far righties long for the same b.s..

Which president is constantly attacking the media again?

Which president is constantly attacking the media again?

He sticks up for himself, and with all the things not to like about Trump, that really isn't one.

I am going to ask the mods to lock this thread.
