Yeah I remember watching that show when it first came out and I always considered scully to be mulder's chubby partner.

In reality she wasn't fat, but because her clothes didn't show any of her body shape and she has a naturally fat face, it looked that way.

In later seasons she got really thin so her facial baby fat went away and I suspect she may have even had a little surgery around the jowles too.

Agreed. Jamie lee curtis was hot when she was young and simply stayed hot into middle age. I don't think she got hotter.

She just played plain jane characters in some of her earlier roles.

Monica Bellucci probably looked her best in her early 40's, Rachel Weisz arguably looked her best in recent years, very attractive women looking their best without puppy fat and a bit of age on their face isnt that rare.

She had a hot body but that semi-punk/new wave hair in the 80s never helped her face, I can see why true lies was were she really clicked for many of us, she still had short hair but somehow it fitted better as a milf .
