Chess - Path towards World Chess Championship (Gukesh Dommaraju vs Ding Liren)

this douchebag pissed me off. he tries to throw up some fried liver and then try to hit me with a scholars mate so i just start taking some pieces and winning a rook and bishop but then he decided to dance all over the board with my king so i took his queen.

that was fucked up. he should have just taken my rook and cut that bullshit out but he wanted to be an asshole and then he blundered.

i havent had a match this one sided in a good while. this dude tried to hit me with a scholars mate so then i took his queen, his rooks, his pawns, and all the rest of his pieces and i cleaned him out so badly i wasn't going to just leave it at that. i wanted to humiliate this fucker for trying the same bullshit tactics that i try on everybody else, so i decided to see if i could promote 6 pawns without locking myself into a stalemate.

sadly he rage quit right before i could get my 4th queen on the board but i hope that the message was delivered!

and this poor soul from italy failed miserably at hitting me with the fried liver so i went in for some italian fried chicken.

i hate when people try that shit on me. so now i been watching this and now i know what to do. holy shit i been doing it wrong the whole time!

alright i was able to whip out the cock and balls opening. but i decided to hide my king inside of the shaft instead of castling. i was doing alright for a bit but i should have cockblocked his bishop before pinning his rook between his queen, exchanging pieces and taking his rook. in a game i had an edge up on it quickly went south. and then i fucked my pawn structure instead of moving my king to guard them and then i knew i was toast.

i don't think i'll be trying that again. he ultimately destroyed my cock and then crushed my balls.

i started with the same opening counter to the fried liver as suggested in this grandmasters tutorial video and all was going well but then i went off script a little and i still fucked this dudes shit sideways.

dummy wanted fried liver? no fried liver for you! dummy wanted to keep the fatty queen so i fried the chicken.

That was a bit of a hilarious mess, but nice finish.

I notice you tend to counter 1e4 with 1e5 (and as such are deep in some fried liver stuff). In case you haven't tried it, the Sicilian defense to 1e4 often produces good games. You just have to be a bit careful out of the beginning.

i could have forced a mate or at least forced him out of a queen by just moving my h1 rook to g1 the moment he took my g pawn and then let it play out from there but that bishop attack on his queen and rook was just too tempting so i had to step away from the script. ultimately it made him have to trade his rook for my knight and then either lose his queen or lose the game immediately after. that was filthy. even if i wouldn't have gotten the mate he almost certainly would have just resigned anyways after giving up his rook and queen that quickly.

Incredible comeback by Pragg to win the tournament.

He's now 2778, India's #1 ranked player, and is in control of the 2025 FIDE Circuit.

i'm getting better at this sacrifice shit. in this one i sacked a pawn to force him into trading his queen for my rook and completely swap control of the board, and then right after i sacked my knight in exchange for the mate and he gladly obliged.

half of the times when someone is offering a free piece it's never free. the other half it's a blunder.

dummy thought his knight was protected until it wasn't. i don't know if there's any way to escape the savage mate i was going to throw on this dude, but clearly accepting my very one-sided trade proposal and taking my bishop wasn't it.

i feel praggnanandhaaaahahadananana levels of brilliance with that tradeoff. buddy quickly seen why exactly i took that knight and then he rage quit immediately lol.

Our boy Krishna made some solid moves there. Trying to sneak that pawn up the b-file while you mounted an attack for the ages was especially hilarious.

Krishna's sleepwalking through life. Hope he smartens up.

i was fair dinkum fucked in this game after hanging my queen but i managed to salvage what i could out of it.

art of the draw baby!

the only logical followup to his roaming pawn would be to abandon all plans of attack and go pawn to b6.

i should have went pawn to b6, sacked my d pawn just to creep my bishop to c5, move a rook to b8 and queen to f6. that would have been the most protected pawn ever had i not already traded off my knight which i could have otherwise plopped onto a5. you want the b6? come at me bro!

He should’ve let you check mate him after that absolute destruction

he already did after going pawn to b5 lol. but i should have went after that pawn first just to assert my dominance.
