That is a good question, honestly i dont know. I have heard Volkov was looking for free agency, and Sakai, I think, wasnt re-signed and he then went to the DWCS where he got a contract. When you say Sakai and Volkov were not re-signed, was it a matter of the UFC paying more or did Bellator legitimately have no interest in their return?
He's doing a lot better than the other 40-year-old HWs in Bellator but it's sad they need to keep wheeling out these old dudes simply because of name recognition.
That would make sense or Moldavsky vs Mittrione/Markes winner and Kongo vs Vasselneed Kongo vs Moldavsky
need Kongo vs Moldavsky
Moldavsky isnt that exciting but I'm invested in him since I saw him as a pup in RIZINIf this fight happened in my front garden I'd probably close the curtains.
Not exciting but I think he is legit, he just needs to be more active on the ground.Moldavsky isnt that exciting but I'm invested in him since I saw him as a pup in RIZIN
The guy realized that he’s in his 40s, and doesn’t want to take any more drain bamage than necessary, so he adopted a safer (albeit boring) fighting style. It’s not fun to watch, but it’s effective, keeping him active longer than most fighters. How can a guy as explosive looking as Kongo be so boring?
Realistically HW is such a shallow division that he could have won that GP and to be honest Kongo would probably be top 10 in the UFC. So it makes sense to think that if he is top ten in the UFC he is top 5 in Bellator.lol they're legitimately worried that he would win (reasonably so.)
