Anyone know of any good deals right now? Or who sells the cheapest higher quality bags?
Thanks a lot.

KOfightgear! I just bought one yesterday and I can't wait to get it. There was quite a few review for KOfightgear. They have awesome quality gear. I was gonna get one of those 100 dollar thai bag. But I decided that this is a long term commitment so I might as well get the best quality.

I got the 130 for 200 bucks plus shipping. After reading the reviews on her about KOfightgear. I decided I'd rather buy quality gear than try to saved the money and end up regretting it. Plus a bag will last you a while (it should if its quality gear). I bought the gloves, hedgear and shinguards from KOFightgear and I was really impressed with the quality.

To: "Dank",
I think "Gunyhighway" recently purchased the 100 lbs. version of the same KO Fightgear bag, and there are some nice photos he posted of it on here. I can't remember if it is in G&E Discussion or the Review section. Everyone says they are really great bags.

If it were my money I would most definitely NOT buy this bag, to be honest. I will echo the others however, go with KOfightgear.

What is up with that bag? What are the negatives about it? Just wondering.

For starters, as a personal preference I don't like synthetic.

There was one of these at my gym and it didn't feel good to hit. It also didn't take long for it to wear out. It is low end. It is not durable, the construction is meh... it just lacks quality.

KO is a great bang for your buck. CSI's is just being cheap.

If you don't like synthetic then why are you recommending KO? I own a KO bag and it's synthetic!

I have owned a ringside bag and a KO bag. Ringside bags are softer and need to be "topped off" after about three months of use. The only reason why I went with Ko is to special order a six and a half foot thai bag.

You are definitely right about KO, and I probably wasn't clear.

The reason why I recommended KO though is because he's looking for the "cheapest good" bag, and I think KO would do it. Not to mention the quality of the rest of the KO line is incredible.

In terms of the CSI bag though, I see it as a cheap bad bag.

On another subject of synthetic though, I actually have a synthetic pair of Ringside focus mitts. They were on clearance for $20 and someone decided to buy them for me. Don't compare to some of the nicer mitts but if anyone caught that deal it wasn't a bad option.

Is there any other difference with leather and synthetic bag other than leather last longer?

That is a good question. I guess it would also depend on what the "synthetic" material is made of, and the thickness, type of leather, and how it has been processed. I know in the near future, my next bag is going to be either the KO Fightgear 130 lbs. 6' Muay Thai bag, or the Fairtex 6' Muay Thai bag.

I know that I couldn't really go wrong with either one, and both are excellent bags, but it would be nice to see some information from someone in the industry that could really shed some specifics and light on the topic.
